Make Autoza a preferred source in Google
Google lets you tell it which sites you actually want to see. If you find our Irish car guides useful — VRT, motor tax, NCT, what a model is really worth — you can mark Autoza as a preferred source, and Google will show our pages more often when you search for this kind of thing.
Make Autoza a preferred source
Opens Google’s own settings page. You’ll need to be signed in to your Google account.
How to do it
- 1Click the button above. It opens Google’s source preferences with Autoza already searched for.
- 2Tick the box next to autoza.ie. That’s it — there’s no confirmation step.
You can also get there from Google directly: your profile picture (top right) → Search personalisation → Source preferences.
What this actually does
- • Autoza appears more often in Top Stories when we publish something relevant to what you searched.
- • It can also affect what shows in AI Overviews and AI Mode.
- • It only changes your results. It is a personal setting, not a ranking purchase.
What it doesn’t do
- • It doesn’t hide anything. Other sites still appear exactly as before.
- • It costs nothing, and we don’t pay Google for it.
- • It gives us no access to your Google account or your data.
- • You can untick it any time in the same settings page.
